7:08 p.m. Called to Meeting:
President Martin Hauble called to meeting. Present Erv Shauer-Vice President, Tammi Brinkman-Treasurer, Michelle Beauvais-Secretary, Amber Campeau-Communications. Scott Beauvais-Trail Boss, Adam Schumaker-Trail Boss. About 15 members in attendance.
There was a motion set forth to temporarily close down 200th Avenue until the complaints can be addressed, and resolved. Adam gave a report that 200th has been quiet lately, he believes they are starting to respect the privilege. The residents of the trailer court have been talked to about the problem and believe that issue has been resolved. They understand that there is also business with ATV’s going on in the business park and has nothing to do with the ATV club. There will be noise from 9-5 due to business.
Discussed getting Abuse it/Lose it Signs for that road. Kannin made a motion to reopen 200th, Adam seconded the motion. Amber discussed Seven Lakes Trail/Stower Trail meeting at the Polk County court house was a 14-1 motion to move forward with the multi-purpose trail for ATV’s. The state needs to re-word the current ordinance. Alden Township is open and posted. Residents of Star Prairie are trying to get all roads open in Star Prairie. SWAC is going to approach the Somerset Village Board again to open the Village. We are holding the next Alliance meeting, we will let you know when that will be. We are trying to get blanket insurance for the Alliance.
